The man who has helped Britain’s courts go paperless began his business five years ago on a corner of his Sussex dining table. After years of prayer and financial difficulty, Paul Sachs’s brainchild is transforming the nation’s legal system. Roger Greene tells the miraculous story of multiplication in the lives of Paul and Bev Sachs
It all began in a conversation in 2008 between Paul Sachs and his brother on the Victoria line train between Billingshurst and Horsham.
Amazing stories from a couple who combine running a restaurant with praying for their customers to have miracles. Plus how they made MORE profit by keeping Sunday special!
Tina Marziano is a member of the Ignite! fellowship of Christians in business and the workplace who meet every month in Horsham. She and her husband Filippo own and run Filippo’s restaurant in Horsham. In this article Tina tells the story of how, nine years ago, the Lord spoke to them as a couple about “fishing for men” and that their “net” was to be a restaurant.
Sarah Holloway is a member of the Ignite! fellowship of Christians in business and the workplace who meet every month in Horsham. In past issues we have featured her work as Senior Assistant Producer of the topical campaigning film ‘A Dark Reflection’. Sarah is also a college teacher of media and film and a trained dancer who found herself performing in front of royalty. But just one year earlier she had been isolated and alone, unable to shake off her inner turmoil
In summer 2012 Roger Greene told the story of how God filled “the company nets” of his consultancy business Tricordant, with new business when they believed in a prophetic word from John 21 to “throw their nets on the right side of the boat”. Last May he told us how, when the Company obeyed the Lord’s word to go and meet him in Galilee, the Lord not only filled the order books before they went away, but he filled their bank account while they were in Israel! Now Roger, who says Tricordant is “on an incredible journey with the Lord”, takes up the story.
Over the last couple of years we have been running regular stories of how God has been at work in the business and work lives of Christians around Sussex. We know from feedback what a great encouragement they have been to believers in the marketplace.
We caught up recently with Roger Greene, who started the Ignite business breakfast, initially with friends from his own church. Since writing for HEART OF SUSSEX he has seen many more come to the breakfast, with some regularly travelling 30 miles to meet on a Saturday.
In this regular feature Roger Greene brings you stories of God’s amazing interventions in the lives of Christians in the marketplace. Now he introduces you to Tony Larkin who tells us his amazing journey through profound dyslexia from F1 motorsport engineer to psychotherapist
AFTER WORKING for 25 years in engineering, eight of those years in Formula 1 motorsport, I had a profound feeling that God was calling me to Bible school.
So my wife and I moved to Horsham in West Sussex and I started as a student at Kingdom Faith Bible College. It was there that I had a prophecy, from a pastor, saying that I would know the inner workings of a man’s mind. At the time I had no idea what that would mean and what a profound, life- changing statement it would be.
