HEART’s administrator Mrs Waller looked rather bleary recently.

She admitted it was due to spending a week sleeping on the kitchen floor as part of Open Doors’ initiative to ‘live like a refugee’.  She had found a corner for her sleeping bag behind the dining table where the family dogs could not join her. Unlike the Christian refugees in Syria and Iraq, she was not out of doors in freezing temperatures, but was deprived of hot drinks as she had given up tea during Lent. Her only liquid fuel was water.

Mr Waller, who thinks it hilarious, has promised a detailed report and photos for next issue. Make sure your church gets plenty of copies.
