A PERMANENT NIGHT SHELTER for homeless people is ‘becoming firmly established’ according to Derek Hogg, chairman of Churches Together in Bognor.

Glenlogie House in Bognor Regis will be the venue for the growing initiative supported by churches in the town alongside homeless charity Stonepillow and Arun District Council. It will mean rough sleepers are given an initial 28 days respite from the streets at the moment by giving shelter and other support.

Mr Hogg said: “I hope that those churches who have helped us to feed the homeless people working at Glenlogie will be prepared to continue donating food for the time being, since this generosity is a tremendous help and very much appreciated.”
