SEEING SIX PRISONERS BEATEN and then taken away to be hanged has shocked American Pastor Saeed Abedini, still imprisoned in Iran’s notorious Rajai Shahr prison in Tehran.

Naghmeh, Saeed’s wife, found him visibly shaken during a recent visit to the jail where he has been in custody for two-and-a-half years for his Christian faith. She also found the families of the executed “crying and wailing” at the prison when they were told of the deaths.

Naghmeh said: “It was a hard and dark day having witnessed that and seeing life being taken. It was also an emotional visit as it is getting closer to our son Jacob’s seventh birthday. The last time Saeed saw Jacob he was four years old.”
