The Sabbath was first given to the Israelites only as one of the Ten Commandments (Letters, June/July). Now Jewish and Gentile believers are not under the Old Covenant. Nowhere did Paul or the other New Testament writers command the believers to keep the Sabbath!
It is important to have a day of rest and have fellowship with other believers, but because we worship God in Spirit and truth, the actual day is not important.
