TERRY VIRGO, the founder of the New Frontiers international network of churches, now living in London but originally from Hastings and Brighton, has recently returned from an exhausting but thrilling 11-week preaching tour of the USA with his wife Wendy.
The journey took the couple ‘literally from coast to coast’, often using the Romans message about grace, to speak at 39 meetings and three weekend celebrations in locations such as California, Nevada, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Missouri, Massachusetts and Vermont.
Terry said: “I saw a nation with far more Christian presence than anywhere in Western Europe but with a growing tide of anti-Christian hostility and advancing secularism. A serious spiritual battle rages in the country that for generations has been the world’s strongest so-called Christian nation.”
