A LITTLE BOY called on God to save him – obeying his grandfather’s order to pray – as the duo were separated on the Puget Sound coastal waters in Washington State, USA.

Alexander Smith, age 6, was in a kayak with grandfather Eldon Moss, 74, when the craft suddenly capsized. Both wore life jackets and Eldon managed to turn the kayak right side up and put his grandchild back in but he was too exhausted to get in himself. So the two drifted away, with Eldon telling his grandson to pray, and prayed himself as the duo parted on the waters and were separated for an hour and a half.

Alexander is reported to have said God told him to paddle back which he did, although he had only learned to paddle for the first time earlier that day.
