A SCHOOL TEACHER WAS FORCED to cover over a student prayer request board following lawsuit threats from an atheist organisation.

Randi Rogers, a teacher at the Lamar County School District in Mississippi, USA, ‘violated the establishment clause of the First Amendment’ claimed the Appignani Humanist Legal Center in a letter, adding that the teacher’s actions were illegal.

The district authority covered over the board and sent memos to all teaching professionals in the area, telling them not to promote prayer or religion in schools.
