US pro-life group Operation Rescue alleges that Google is downgrading a page on their website.

Until mid-May, their most visited page appeared in the top five when searching ‘abortions in US’. But then the search result was suddenly demoted to 25th.

Cheryl Sullenger, senior vice-president, claims that Google has been “burying our most popular page”.

Adverts by pro-life groups have recently been censored by Twitter for violating its “hate and sensitive content policy”. Ads banned under this heading include a quote by Mother Teresa, ultrasound images, challenging Planned Parenthood’s claims, and descriptions of life inside the womb.

One showed a baby in the womb with the words: “I am not a potential human… I am a human with potential.”
