Finally, some good news has emerged from the fight against terrorism in Nigeria. Voice of America has reported that a joint operation of Nigerian and Cameroonian military forces liberated the Nigerian town of Kumahe near the border between the two countries, killing around 100 Boko Haram fighters.

The past few weeks have seen several successes; it is estimated that more than 500 hostages have been freed from the clutches of the Islamist terror group.
