“Saving the planet” – the clarion call echoing from classrooms to boardrooms – is being used to brainwash us into embracing a new religion of green fundamentalism.

Based on pseudo-science, it is actually revived earth worship. For example, the secular ‘Ark of Hope’, which parodies the biblical Ark of the Covenant, houses a copy of the Earth Charter – a document with 16 principles, organised under four pillars.

Launched in 2000, the Charter “reflects universal spiritual values… It serves as a universal code of conduct for world citizens.”

It was promoted by the Earth Council and provides pantheistic religious values to match the future pantheistic world government. This world government’s alleged purpose will be to protect the earth at all costs.

One day, I believe, even pastors will have to subscribe to its pantheistic mandates.

Unsurprisingly, the Charter’s commission was co-chaired by former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev and Maurice Strong, the Canadian socialist millionaire who is credited with inventing ‘climate change’.

Green propaganda is being used to set up a totalitarian world government which will restrict everything from our movements to our diets. Bill Gates thinks that moving away from meat consumption is good for the planet, but I wonder how many insect burgers Gates consumes? He is, incidentally, the biggest owner of farmland in America.

The antidote to all this is the pure truth in the Bible. My wife and I wrote our book, ‘Cults and Isms, True or False?’ (thefreepressonline.co.uk) to help expose the lies of the new ‘green religion’. We hope every true Christian realises that this is the age of deception which Jesus warned us about.
