A booklet about the implications of redefining marriage is to be sent to East and West Sussex schools.
The Coalition for Marriage launched an appeal to raise £171 to send the guide for schools and teachers to the 248 primary schools and 52 secondary schools in West Sussex but now has enough to send it to East Sussex schools too.
Chairman Colin Hart said, “We are delighted that the funds were raised. This booklet is proving very popular. One teacher was threatened with disciplinary action for expressing her belief in traditional marriage in the staff room, but the head teacher later backed off when the teacher quoted from the arguments used in our booklet.”
