Sharp-eyed readers will recall the story of Rev Chris Sears, MBE, who featured in both our December and February issues with the story of his church’s purchase of a former URC building. His team are already putting it to good use; as well as hosting healing rooms every Saturday afternoon run by local GP Dr Susanne Jones and Mark Dockerill, they have opened a 50-seater cafe which is open six days a week.

Rev Chris, who doubles as General Manager, reports that a customer who requested prayer for a long-term life-threatening condition was healed and says: “We hope that this will be a place of God’s increasing presence in the town centre marketplace, and an instrument for God’s revival here.”
