Perhaps to inspire himself before his next long time away from the UK, Paul Marsh from Angmering, who has featured in previous issues of HEART, went with friends to visit Puritan saint John Bunyan, author of the ‘Pilgrim’s Progress.’

With his friends, the Forbes family, whose children are seen here with Paul, he went to Bedford on the eve of his next trip to China where he will be teaching English at a university until July 2016.

Paul told HEART, “What came over to me very vividly was the fact that we are pilgrims here and that we have to make a stand for the Lord, as indeed Bunyan did. He was imprisoned in Bedford Jail for his faith – see Hebrews 11:8-10.”
