SATURDAY 14 NOVEMBER, THE DAY AFTER THE PARIS terrorist attacks, saw British and six French Christians at a special meeting in Canterbury Cathedral’s beautiful French Chapel. We had been praying and planning since August, but only God knew how timely it would turn out to be.

I belong to a local Lydia prayer group, and God opened the way for a friend and I to kick-start a group in Calais which consists of both Protestant and Charismatic Catholic Christians.

Michele Guinness spoke to us about the need for unity and commitment in small evangelical churches in France, then Lyndall Bywater of Canterbury City Space prayer room invited us to join hands, French and English together, as she prayed. It was a privilege to stand with France and we need to keep praying for them.
