Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon dramatically held up the Bible as the ‘deed’ to their land during a special session of the United Nations Security Council.
Tasked with the job of proving the case for Jewish connection to the Holy Land, he outlined four reasons – the Bible (quoting Genesis 17:7f), history, international law and the pursuit of international peace and security. Even the Qur’an accepted this ‘divine deed’, he added.
