The contribution of Wales to Israel’s Christian and military heritage is now commemorated by a plaque unveiled at Christ Church in Jerusalem’s Old City following a ceremony attended by a cross-party group of six Welsh Assembly members.

As part of General Allenby’s forces who conquered the city in 1917, their contribution to its liberation was critical, while legendary intercessor Rees Howells is also recognised for having led his Bible College students to fight on their knees for Jewish restoration.
