In the last edition of Heart, we brought you news of pastor Josh Williamson who was arrested twice for preaching on the streets of Scotland.

Earlier this month, the London Borough of Wandsworth decided to drop charges against another street preacher, Dominic Muir, for preaching in Battersea Park on 11th August. The Christian Legal Centre represented him.

He commented, “I am enormously thankful for Christian Legal Centre for saying ‘No, this needs to be brought to the attention of the public eye; this needs to be fought,’ because this case is absurd. And freedom of speech must be protected at all costs.”

But, Christian Concern reports, he is still concerned that other evangelists like him are losing their freedoms to preach the gospel in public. “We have a responsibility as a church to have a voice, to use our voice, and to proclaim the Word of God in public,” Muir said.
