China, where the Church is growing rapidly but unregistered churches face persecution

A Sussex-connected woman has been making regular visits to China for the past four years.  Supported only by individuals and her local church, she goes with the purpose of studying the language and sharing her faith, but due to conditions there, must be anonymous.

Most recently she spent three months seeking to improve her Bible Chinese, visit friends with whom she maintains contact and accompanying others on a more rural trip to share with an ethnic group the Good News about Jesus.

Her heart is burdened by these verses from Romans 10:13-15: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!’”
