Set apart to stand out: graduates of the International Bible Training Institute get ready to hit the mission field in the UK and abroad (photo:IBTI)

Bible college graduates are once again getting ready to fan out from Burgess Hill and take on the world with the good news of Jesus.

The International Bible Training Institute (IBTI) celebrated its 71st graduation at St Andrew’s Church, Burgess Hill, on 30 June. Some of the class of 2018 are heading off to missions in the Philippines and Thailand, while others will start internships in churches and missionary organisations in the UK and abroad.

Just two weeks later, the mission field came to the IBTI; from 10-20 July they entertained 29 young people from five different countries – playing games in the spacious grounds, teaching English in creative ways and going out on trips.

An IBTI team member commented: “Our biggest joy by far was to see these young people draw near to God and we had the privilege of witnessing some accept Christ. Nine of them were baptised in the Holy Spirit and almost all of them left the IBTI determined to give their lives to serve their generation.”
