Falsified history

In response to How the Past Explains Where We Are by Jeremy Thomas (June-July books page). I have just re-read True Science Agrees With The Bible by Malcolm Bowden. Here he shows how history has been falsified to hide the Christian history of this island since the times of the apostles onwards.

Where Jesus tells us to watch and pray, surely seeing how we have been misled about our own history, and the reason Britain has been used in the past, helps us to pray with more clarity and assurance.

Gross national sin

The day after the BMA voted to support the decriminalisation of abortion up to birth, I awoke pondering the madness of a country that seeks to kill its unborn children up to birth, with no repercussions. Read More

Miracles are in the Old Testament too

Your Christmas/New Year cover story, ‘Proof that Christmas really happened’, bothers me! Not because I doubt Jesus was born, preached was killed for our sins and rose again. Nor do I doubt he … Read More

Last issue we printed a letter whose writer stated that both Christmas, Easter and Halloween are no different because they had pagan roots. The following letter is a reaction to that.

Christmas and Easter’s pagan roots

Christmas and Easter are no different to Halloween, are they? Who do we give praise and honour to at Christmas and Easter? Is the same true of Halloween? Read More

Paganism in the Church

Mike Fryer’s talk exposed just the tip of the ‘iceberg’ but his solution is part of the problem.

Jude warned that self-important men would draw people to themselves and away from Christ with a gospel that is lifeless.

The good news of salvation through identification with or baptism into Jesus’ death (Acts 2:38) has been replaced with Satan’s gospel:  “Ignore what God has said.  Do what you think is good and you will not die but become an immortal” (Genesis 3:1-6).

EU and prophecy

Our April-May issue proved so popular, with orders from all around the country, that we ran out of copies and even at the time of printing this issue calls were coming in for new orders as people passed the April-May issue around.

Most reactions were positive, such as the Surrey vicar who said it was the best publication he had seen in 30 years of ministry and the lady from Kingston who had been sent a copy and emailed to say, “I agreed with every word. Please send me 50 copies.” Read More

Christianity is a force for good

I am concerned that the faith inquiry chaired by Baroness Butler-Sloss is calling for an end to Christian assemblies in schools and for public life to be “de-Christianised.”

It’s hard to understand the hostility towards Christianity, as it has many benefits to society. Our Judeo-Christian Ten Commandments teach that no-one should steal, lie, or murder; that we should be honest in business, care for each other, be good workers, honour our parents, respect older people, be kind to animals and forgive others.  Read More
